Apex was founded in 2016 by two factory-trained detailers tired of the corner-cutting they saw everywhere else. We do fewer cars than the dealership detail shops on purpose — because the work we do takes time.

Today we run a six-bay studio with five certified detailers, full enclosed climate control, and the kind of lighting that makes hiding defects impossible.

Founded by Ray Castellanos and Devin Park out of a single bay behind a body shop. First-year output: 240 cars.

Moved into a six-bay flagship studio with full climate control and authorized installer credentials with three top coating brands.

How a car

Apex.

No two cars get exactly the same treatment, but every car moves through the same three stages. Nothing skipped.

Inspection & Decon

We document defect maps under inspection lighting, then perform a full surface decontamination — iron removal, clay, chemical strip — before any work begins.

Correction & Prep

Multi-stage compounding and polishing tailored to your paint's hardness and defect depth. Surface is then panel-wiped and prepped for application.

03

Application & Cure

Coating or film is applied in a controlled environment and cured for 24–48 hours under regulated humidity before the vehicle leaves the studio.
